Day Three: One Hour Painting

Hi! Today’s post is a little late, and quite simple. I worked a 13 hour day and by the time I drove 40 minutes home, I was beat. I was so tired that I didn’t even want to pick up my paintbrush! I decided to force myself to paint something, even if it was small. I used the same limited color palette that I used yesterday (Red, yellow, blue, black, and white thick body acrylics) on a piece of 8inx8in watercolor paper. All I could spare was 1 hour of time, since it was past my bedtime. I really wanted to put in more details, but it turned out quite charming the way it is.

I’ve never tried to paint a butterfly before, so be kind!

Thanks for stopping by!
